Warren Buffett's life story and his tips for new investors

Warren Buffett is one of the most successful investors in history, and his life story is an inspiring tale for aspiring entrepreneurs. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 30th, 1930, Warren Buffett was born into a modest family. Despite his humble beginnings he showed a keen interest in the business from an early age and began investing at just 11 years old. He attended the Wharton School of Business before transferring to Columbia University where he studied under Benjamin Graham – the father of value investing – who would become one of Warren’s greatest influences throughout his career as an investor.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Warren worked hard to build up Berkshire Hathaway which eventually became one of America's largest companies by market capitalization with investments across numerous industries including insurance, energy production & distribution, etc. His success has been attributed largely to his ability to identify undervalued assets that other investors overlook or dismiss due to their potential riskiness while also utilizing creative financing strategies such as leverage buyouts when necessary.
